Colder temperatures, shorter days, and snow bring a slower pace to one of the nation’s most visited national parks.
But whoever adventured there at the end of the year (New Year’s Eve and day) was in it for a treat. Several inches of snow blanketed the most known touristic attraction in Arizona: the Grand Canyon South Rim. This made it look like a “winter wonderland” and several photos below emphasis this.

The Grand Canyon Ā is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 meters), getting around 5 million visitors a year (the Grand Canyon National Park).
